Having written columns in trade and financial publications for more than a decade it was clear there was void in critical content for the professionals that look after the needs of the wealthiest 1% of the population. The idea for a dedicated magazine bounced around for a few years before finally taking root in 2006 and coming to life the following year as Private Wealth – the industry’s first publication for professionals that cater exclusively to an ultra-high-net-worth client base.
As one of the founders, alongside Russ Alan Prince and the publishing experts at Charter Financial Publishing Network (already known for Financial Advisor and The Journal of Indexes), we chose to focus on bringing the most relevant research and editorial content on the topics that make a difference to high-end advisory professionals. Today we’re in our sixth year of publication and remain the leading periodical about working with the financial elite and we still regularly cover business development, practice management, investments, insurance, estate planning, lifestyle, philanthropy, wealth protection and many other topics that together create the mosaic of private wealth management.
Our latest developments include a bi-weekly news round-up, PWNews, and multi-day conferences, half- and full-day workshops, webinars and other learning and networking events for our readership. Since the summer of 2007, many other publications have emerged for the wealth management and family office audiences with variations on format, content and frequency. We’ve stuck with the original formula: top quality editorial content and a qualified readership so our professional readers get the key insights they need and our advertisers can be assured they’re reaching the professionals they want.
